Midwest Compliance Associates

“Midwest Compliance Associates understands our industry and speaks our “language.” They have helped transform Siouxland Mental Health into a culture of compliance.”

Sheila Martin
CEO, Siouxland Mental Health Center

In 2011 Gary formed Midwest Compliance Associates to guide non-hospital based health care providers through the maze of regulatory and fraud, waste and abuse compliance as well as the increasingly important privacy and security requirements under HIPAA/HITECH. Midwest Compliance Associates is a full service health care compliance consulting firm helping providers build and maintain effective compliance programs. An important part of a strong compliance program is annual training for staff and the governing board. Gary brings a new perspective to training; through the use of humor and real life examples compliance training comes alive and enhances the effectiveness of the entire compliance program.

Gary is the author of “Do The Right Thing – a road map to building an effective compliance program” and the developer of CP-HIPAASolutions.com a web based resource developed specifically for the HIPAA needs of community providers.
